Directions
1. Walk through the green gates at the entrance
to 'Moulden Hill' and immediately
turn left and walk along the footpath.
2. After approx 100 yards turn
right into the field and follow
the worn footpath across the field
towards the top right corner.
3. Walk through the gap in the
hedgerow and up the hill through
the young trees
4. At the top of the hill turn
right and along the path through
more trees.
5. When you come into the field
turn left and walk down the hill.
Turn right in the corner and follow
the canal on your left hand side.
6. Walk through the gap in the hedgerow and down the hill
and bear right at the river and
follow the path past the brick bridge
and along the river.
7. Cross through the gap in the
hedge line leading to the Moulden
Lake and bear left along the path.
8. At the end of the gravel path
turn left and go over the wooden
bridge and along the gravel path
on the other side.
9. Turn right when you see a
wooden footpath post and head towards
the wooden gate.
10. Go through the wooden gate
and continue a straight ahead for
a few yards and then turn left at
the footpath sign.
11. Continue straight ahead along
the wide grassy path.
12. At the next field turn right
and walk straight ahead keeping
the tree line on your right. The
path may not be clear at first but
soon turns into a wider grassy path.
Continue around the edge of this
field turning twice to do a U turn,
you may find Deer here occasionally
13. Cross through into the field
ahead by crossing over the ditch
and through the gap in the trees
dividing the fields. Continue straight
ahead
14. Turn left in the corner,
don't go through the kissing gate
here.
15. Go through the wooden kissing
gate in the next corner and turn
left and along the gravel path,
over the bridge and back to the
lake.
16. Walk around the other side
of the lake and back through the
gap in the hedge turning left into
the field.
17. Continue straight ahead with
the hedge line on your left to the
corner of the field.
18. Go through the gap in the
hedge, turn right and walk along
the tarmac path back to the car.
Leads back on here, busy road!
