Directions
1: Walk up the lane to the end.
Go through the kissing gate and
then through second kissing gate
on left into the field (warning,
cattle in field). Walk across the
field towards the footpath signpost
on the ridge of the hill. Enjoy
splendid views here!
2: Follow the footpath down the
hill towards the bottom right hand
corner
3: Go over the stile, keep the
tree line to your right hand side
and walk along the edge of the field
4: Cross through the broken tree
line onto a grassy track, at the
metal gate where the hedge line
breaks turn right and immediately
left along the grassy path keeping
hedge line to left
5: Go through the metal gate
and walk around the right hand edge
of field taking you past farm buildings
on the right
6: At bottom right hand corner,
cross through the gap in hedge line
onto a gravel bridleway and turn
left
7; Keep on the gravel footpath
for quite a distance until it bears
left into a field. Follow the path
into the field and turn left. Walk
around the edge of the field turning
right at first corner and then continuing
straight ahead keeping the hedge
line on the left. As you pass the
copse watch out for deer!
8: At the hedge line T junction.
Turn right and look out for
the wooden footbridge on left side
after about 15 yards hidden amongst
the trees.
Cross over the bridge, and continue
straight ahead along edge of field,
turn left at the end and walk to
the stile just in front of fenced
off area
9: Cross the stile, and turn
left and walk around the fenced
area to the next stile
10: Cross the stile on to concrete
path, turn right walk to road
11: At the road turn left, walk
up the hill past Malthouse Close,
continue up Church Way, turn left
past the church into Burytown Lane
and walk back to the start
